The Career Opportunities Committee presents the 2022 Mentoring Symposium. This three-part symposium will focus on Navigating and Overcoming Career Obstacles. The goal is to provide instruction and advice on how to navigate interpersonal situations and develop leadership skills, both as a mentor and mentee.

Part 3 of this symposium will cover Handling Rejection. Dr. Keisa Mathis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology and Anatomy at University of North Texas Health Science Center. This session will include discussion on experiencing rejection in science careers, how to respond, and strategies to overcome.
