APS President's Symposium Series. Adult Cell Plasticity and Tissue Rejuvenation
Symposium — Wednesday, April 28, 2021 — 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM — Virtual Session, Room APS-1
President's Symposium Series — Chair: Linda Samuelson — Co-Chair: Asma Nusrat
This symposium highlights several recent discoveries regarding cellular plasticity, a process that allows cells to acquire new identities or to adopt alternate cell fates. Cellular plasticity is important to rejuvenate numerous adult tissues in response to injury. Presentations will focus on cellular and molecular mechanisms and the physiological consequences of altered adult cell identity in vivo.
