APS Annual Meeting at Experimental Biology

Neuro-Immune Interaction and Autonomic Dysfunctions

Featured Topic — Tuesday, April 27, 2021 — 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM — Virtual Session, Room APS-13
CNS Section — Chair: Quentin Pittman — Co-Chair: Srinivas Sriramula

The goal of this featured topic is to provide a platform to present recent research findings on the role of neural inflammation and neuro-immune interactions in the development of  autonomic dysregulation. Dr. Zubcevic accepted to be the designated speaker for this featured topic. She will present her findings on the involvement of bone marrow sympathetic drive and neuroinflammation in angiotensin II hypertension. In addition, 4 speakers each giving a 15-min. talk, will be selected from abstracts submitted to this topic.
